Jo comments on the launch of the Thomas Muir Heritage Trail

Commenting on the launch of the Thomas Muir Heritage Trail Jo said:

"I welcome the launch of the heritage trail to recognise the life and work of Thomas Muir. East Dunbartonshire can rightly be proud of Muir's lasting legacy of democracy. Hopefully we'll raise awareness of this hero while promoting the outdoors, local history and tourism. I pay tribute to the work being done by Jimmy Watson and the rest of the Friends of Thomas Muir to make sure this remarkable local historical figure is remembered."
