Local MP Jo Swinson recently paid a visit to the re-launched Cafe Creme in Bishopbriggs.

Sisters Jennifer Boyle, Michelle Steenson and Geraldine Dillon have run a hugely well-liked Cafe Creme in the heart of Bearsden for over two years. Following their success with this cafe, they have decided to offer the people of Bishopbriggs a chance to sample the warm atmosphere and popular homemade cakes that are so popular in Bearsden’s Cafe Creme. The owners were thrilled that an estimated 250 people were present at the launch event earlier this month.
Commenting on her visit, Jo said:
“A key role I play as a local MP is promoting small and independent businesses. I am passionate about seeing their growth and the benefits they bring to the local economy. I congratulate the owners on all the hard work that has gone into establishing a new Cafe Creme in Bishopbriggs.
“Jennifer, Michelle and Geraldine really want to be part of the community and I encourage people who live in Bishopbriggs, or who may be passing through, to pop in for a coffee and a slice of cake”.
Co-owner Jennifer Boyle said: “We are so pleased that Jo came along to support our opening in Bishopbriggs. It has been a busy time for us but I am delighted at the warm welcome we have received in the town.
“We pride ourselves on our friendly staff and atmosphere in Cafe Creme. If you are around in the area we would love to show you our range of delicious homemade cakes!”
