Local MP Jo has praised the successful and unique service provided by local IT software solution provider RAD.
(L-R) RAD’s Business Development Manager Miles Chicoine, Jo Swinson, and Marketing Manager Martin Calvert
Jo recently paid a visit to RAD, the leading provider of software solutions and implementation services for managing and distribution companies in Scotland and beyond. Established in 1997, the company’s diverse customer base includes Heliex Power, Finsbury Food Group and Lactalis McLelland who produce the popular ‘Galloway’ and ‘Seriously Strong’ cheese brands.
Joining Business Development Manager Miles Chicoine and Marketing and Sales Manager Martin Calvert, Jo heard about the company’s latest news.
Commenting, Jo said:
“It was a pleasure to meet RAD at their offices by the marina in Kirkintilloch, where business is clearly going from strength to strength. By offering IT solutions tailored to individual clients’ needs, RAD already have a very successful customer base which will undoubtedly expand in coming years.
“With a service based on building unique relationships, and each deal taking up to 3-5 years to secure, the dedication of staff like Martin and Miles is vital. Their enthusiasm for the growth of the company was clear, and I wish RAD all the very best of luck for a successful future.”
Commenting further, Miles said:
“We feel privileged to be growing during what has clearly been a prolonged period of economic oscillation. Developing mutually rewarding relationships and partnerships with new clients has been a significant challenge whilst Scottish manufacturers have, in recent years, had to deal with so much uncertainty.
“We feel that our success demonstrates that in spite of constant discussions about recessions and market turmoil, there is a quiet but genuine undercurrent of confidence, growth and investment throughout both Scotland and the U.K. as a whole and we’re really pleased to be part of that.”
