Jo paid a visit to Milngavie Primary School on Friday to speak to a P6 class about her role as their local MP.
After talking to the pupils about her work in Parliament, Jo answered their questions.
The class were all dressed up as characters from their favourite books, to tie in with Milngavie Book and Arts Festival.
Commenting, Jo said:
“I was delighted to be welcomed back to Milngavie Primary School. The children had a healthy interest in local issues, and asked some great questions about Tesco’s plans to expand their Milngavie store. Tesco would do well to listen to what the children have to say about it.
“They also asked me about the future of the Allander Leisure Centre, which just goes to show how important it is to local people. After the anger which the Kilmardinny decision has generated, I hope that local children will be able to receive some good news about this much valued sports centre.”
