Scrap the SNP Tax Bombshell

When we’re talking to local people it is clear that the worsening cost of living crisis is on everyone’s mind.
Local families are struggling with ever increasing bills and worrying about how they’re going to make ends meet.

The SNP just don’t get it. They have announced plans to hike Council Tax on properties in East Dunbartonshire by up to 22%.

They are currently asking for your views on this in a consultation (consult.gov.scot/local-government-and-communities/consultation-on-a-fairer-council-tax/) which ends on the 20th of September.

This SNP tax bombshell could cost you up to £781 per year - we do not think this is right.
