Explore local heritage at Doors Open Day – Jo

Jo Swinson MP for East Dunbartonshire is encouraging local residents to take part in Doors Open Day on Saturday 8 September

Doors Open Day gives access to hundreds of historic buildings across Scotland and East Dunbartonshire will have 18 open for the public to explore the hidden heritage on our doorstep.

Buildings opening their doors to the public include the Bishopbriggs Library, Campsie Memorial Hall in Lennoxtown, Corbie Ha' in Milngavie, the Old Bath House in Kirkintilloch and Kilmardinny House Arts Centre.

Commenting Jo said:

"Doors Open Day is a great chance for people to find out what's behind the doors of the buildings in their local area. With so many buildings around the local area there is something for everyone.

"This is the fourteenth year East Dunbartonshire has taken part in this once-a-year event and I encourage as many residents as possible to enjoy what's on offer."
