Jo has met Milngavie Primary’s P6 class as part of one of their current topics
The P6 class, who are currently undertaking a local government module, heard from Jo about her role as an MP and life in the public domain. Having just returned from her appearance on the panel of Thursday’s BBC Question Time, Jo then took questions from the pupils on topics from the Allander to universities and solar energy.
Jo also admired the pupils’ work on a project where they each chosen a politician to complete a poster presentation on, meeting P6 pupil Tom Raeside who had chosen Jo to feature in his work.
Commenting, Jo said:
“It’s always a real pleasure to meet East Dunbartonshire’s young people, and the pupils at Milngavie Primary were no exception. I was happy to be able to offer an insight into life as an MP as part of their current studies, and it was great to take their questions on both local and national issues, particularly after appearing on a completely different kind of Question Time the night before!”
