Commenting, Jo Swinson said:

“I’m delighted that so many local community groups in and around East Dunbartonshire have been successful in securing these awards. It is essential that community groups such as these are given the resources needed to bring local people together and provide activities and opportunities that would not otherwise be available. In these difficult financial times it is great to see community groups getting the funding they deserve.”
