Commenting, Jo said:
“This is brilliant news for Wester Cleddens, Meadowburn Primary and Milngavie District Guides. These awards will help ensure that local children stay happy and healthy by giving them access to outdoor activities which are both safe and great fun.
“The Guides have been providing a great experience for young women for a hundred years – teaching them valuable skills whilst imparting a sense of self-reliance and responsibility. I was a Girl Guide myself when I was younger, and I have many great memories from that time. I’m sure this grant will help to provide many good times for today’s Girl Guides in Milngavie.
“Congratulations to all those involved in securing the awards.”
