Youngsters from the 24th Bearsden Beavers had a very special visitor this week.
The boys and their Beaver Scout leader Christine Michie invited Jo Swinson MP for East Dunbartonshire to answer their questions about life as a politician.
Ms. Swinson stayed around after to chat to the boys and watch their activities and presentation of certificates, including for the 9 boys who were enjoying their last night at Beavers before joining the Cubs.
Commenting Jo said:
“I was delighted to have been invited to join the Beaver Scouts on Monday night and tell them a bit about life as an MP.
“The Scouts organisation is so valuable to young people in our community. It’s a great opportunity to make friends and learn useful skills.”
