Local MP Jo Swinson is urging businesses that have yet to fill out her local business survey to respond via post or online. Surveys were posted to hundreds of local businesses and so far dozens have responded with their feedback.
The MP launched the survey to take an in-depth look at the position of local businesses and the prospects for future business growth in the area. The survey also asks businesses what support they need to grow.
Commenting, Jo said:
“Businesses are the lifeblood of our economy and important to our local area. Ensuring businesses across East Dunbartonshire thrive is one of my top priorities. That’s why I am running a business survey and encouraging businesses to take part online at http://bit.ly/EDsurvey2014 or send it in via post.
“I want the views of local businesses to be heard. The results will be used to analyse how businesses are performing and what more can be done to support them. I will be speaking to the local councils, other authorities and government about the issues raised although individual business details will remain anonymous.”
