Voters go to the polls in East Dunbartonshire

As voters go to the polls across the country, political pundits will be keeping a close eye on the result in East Dunbartonshire. The seat is expected to be a close contest between Labour and local Lib Dem challenger Jo Swinson.

 

Having cast her vote, Jo Swinson said: “We have a real chance of winning here in East Dunbartonshire. Voting Lib Dem today is a vote to protect our local health services, for fairer pensions and to scrap the unfair Council Tax.”

The result in East Dunbartonshire is expected at 1:15am
