Jo Swinson MP for East Dunbartonshire has welcomed the launch of Sainsbury’s Active Kids 2014 voucher scheme. Over the years the support of Sainsbury’s customers and colleagues in East Dunbartonshire has led to over £90,000 worth of Active Kids equipment and experiences being donated to schools and organisations in he area.

Local MP Jo Swinson has welcomed the increased number of new businesses created in Scotland. Figures posted last week by the Federation of Small Businesses show that in 2013 more than 400 new businesses were set up in the East Dunbartonshire area with 30,000 new businesses created in Scotland – an increase of 19% from 2012.
