Scottish Liberal Democrat councillor for Bishopbriggs South, Ben Rose, had an interview with that That's TV to discuss the estimated replacement date of St Helen's Primary School of 2038.
The Liberal Democrat council group have been championing the cause of funding for refurbishments and replacement schools across East Dunbartonshire as most projects started under the last administration have now been put on indefinite hold. Last month even won agreement for the council to write to the Scottish Government to ask for extra funding.
Ben Rose spoke about wanting to make sure that St Helen's is also brought into the fold with the other schools needing more funding just to meet the original planned refurbishments.
