Drop in satisfaction with health services in East Dunbartonshire over last decade
Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for Strathkelvin and Bearsden, Adam Harley, has today said that the SNP are terrible for your health as new figures revealed that the percentage of people satisfied with health services in the area has fallen over the last decade.
The most recent Scottish Household Survey published on 11th November found that in East Dunbartonshire the percentage of people satisfied with local health services has fallen from 89% to 59% over the last decade.
This represents a drop of 30%.
Across Scotland, satisfaction with the quality of local health services has fallen from 83% in 2015 to 61% in 2024.
Scottish Liberal Democrat candidate for Strathkelvin and Bearsden, Adam Harley, said:
“This is yet more proof that the SNP are terrible for your health.
“For the past eighteen years, they have overseen the decline of our NHS. When I’m out speaking to people in Strathkelvin and Bearsden, they tell how they are finding it more difficult than ever to get the healthcare they need. While NHS staff, who work so hard, are run off their feet.
“People in East Dunbartonshire and across Scotland deserve better, which is why the Lib Dems have a realistic plan to ensure everyone gets the healthcare they need when they need it, from GPs to dentists to mental health professionals.
“At next May’s election, everyone in Strathkelvin and Bearsden can vote for that plan and end the SNP’s mismanagement of our NHS by backing the Scottish Liberal Democrats on both their constituency ballot paper and their second, peach-coloured ballot paper.”
