Bring back council maintenance of Lenzie green space

Patches of overgrown grass on either side of a path leading to houses in the distance.

Bring back council maintenance of Lenzie green space

We, the undersigned, call on East Dunbartonshire Council to recommence informal maintenance of the green spaces near Lindsaybeg Road, Newton Road, Orchard Brae and Bramley Place in Lenzie. These areas were previously maintained by the Council - but since their sale to a private owner, these areas have become overgrown and unusable. We believe the Council must resume maintenance in the interests of community wellbeing until a long-term solution is found.
