Councillor Vaughan Moody
Councillor Moody represents Bearsden South Ward on East Dunbartonshire Council and serves as the Lib Dem group leader on the council. He has served as councillor for the ward since its creation in 2007 after previously serving as the councillor for the old Westerton ward.
Councillor Ben Langmead
Councillor Langmead represents Bearsden South Ward on East Dunbartonshire Council. He has served as councillor for the ward since its winning the by-election on the 29th January 2026 and has lived in Bearsden for over a decade with his family.
Thank you for all that voted for Ben Langmead and helped during the campaign, we won a massive victory along with our highest first preference vote share percentage in the ward.
